As we approach her first birthday, I’m so excited to blog this gorgeous Lifestyle Newborn Session welcoming Baby Ellie to the world.

There’s nothing more special than to be asked to document your clients most memorable moments. Sarah and Shawn are one of my favourite couples. I was fortunate enough to document their beautiful Fall wedding in 2018 and we have remained such incredible friends since.

When Sarah told me she was pregnant, I was just over the moon for them. On top of that, they had just welcomed their new puppy Timber to the household so needless to say, there was going to be an insane level of cuteness going on for our newborn session.

Can we also take a moment to appreciate this home?!!!! This busy couple also decided to renovate their own home. They really can do it all! Sarah is an extremely talented Interior Designer and Stylist. Her company Gioia Interiors (pronounced Joy-Ah which I love) is a boutique design firm based out of Calgary, Alberta. Everything this woman touches is stunning. Her creativity and talent is unparalleled. I’m so inspired by her work. Little did we know that the world would change drastically in just a a couple of months from our newborn session. These two have proved how resilient parents can be and are raising one of the happiest little girls I’ve ever met. Happy early birthday sweet Ellie Bea.
