I’m Sue Moodie. Photographer, lover of weddings, and a storyteller. I’m the girl that’s inspired by happiness and I believe that humour is the essence of all great relationships.
I take simple moments that are gone in the blink of an eye and turn them into extraordinary memories. The kind of photos that transport you back the minute you see them. I’ve been in your shoes, I’ve planned a wedding, and I know that long after the cake has been eaten, and your wedding clothes have been hung, your photography will be one of the only things that remain after your special day. These are your first heirlooms as a new family, so it’s important to choose someone who will cherish them as much as you will.
Photography is about trustafter all, we are in this together.
From a personal perspective, it comes down to a gut feeling and natural instinct. I understand that a successful story, when well-authored and edited, is universally understood. There is no language barrier in photos, and the emotions they convey have the potential to stay with us forever. If you can see yourself in my work and it resonates with you on any level, then trust me to tell your story.
Photography allows me to see the beauty of the world without distraction. It gives me purpose and keeps me exploring. I'm encouraged to live more in the now. To see more of the world, and to further understand what is important. For me, an image should be true to the moment and to the people in it. My goal is to make honest images of the moments that are most meaningful to you.
