Their connection was electric, and I knew right away that capturing their love story would be an honour. On August 5, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, they embarked on a journey of a lifetime. One of the highlights of the evening was the cake cutting. Crafted by the talented Arin Hiebert of the Fairmont Palliser, the couple’s wedding cake was a masterpiece. Guests then filled the dance floor, with Vegas the DJ setting the perfect party vibe. Connor and Clayton’s Venue308 wedding was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and endless joy.

What was your most anticipated part of the day?
We were so excited to meet you in person! Full disclosure, you are amazing!! You truly are, you made our day so special. We can’t stop talking about you, and the sneak peek photos, omg, makes us relive our day again. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. You are the best!
What ended up being your favourite part of the day?
We loved the pre-ceremony fun, from getting ready, hanging out at the venue, watching set-up happen, and our amazing time taking photos. This part of the day went by slower, allowing us to just have fun.
What was the biggest surprise on your wedding day?
The ceremony being a blur. We both remember different parts of it. At one point it felt like we were standing there fore hours and after the fact, it seemed to be done in seconds.
What advice would you give to future couple for their wedding?
Breathe, relax and have fun.
What are you looking forward to as a married couple?
Having each other, finding our person. AND (this coming from Connor), Clay having a new last name, haha.
