Alberta’s winter weather can be unpredictable, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of Jackie and Graham during their unforgettable Kananaskis engagement session. Despite the sudden arrival of high winds and blowing snow, this adventurous couple embraced the magic of the moment. Kananaskis, the location of their first camping trip together, held a special place in their hearts, making it the perfect setting to capture their love story.

Initially, the weather forecast promised a beautiful Saturday, but as is typical in Alberta, Mother Nature had other plans. Undeterred by the unexpected conditions, Jackie and Graham, being the outdoorsy and active duo they are, were ready for any adventure that came their way. As we ventured into the deep snow, we discovered an enchanting path, providing us with a walkable route amidst the serene landscape. To add to the already picturesque scenery, massive snowflakes began to fall, creating an ethereal ambiance.

Driven by my unwavering determination to capture the stunning mountain views, we braved the white-out conditions. Guided by my amazing husband Kyle, we embarked on a quick hike to a nearby lake, where snowball fights and laughter ensued, creating beautiful memories. As the session drew to a close, we found ourselves sitting on the tailgate of my truck, savoring coffee and engaging in epic conversations—yes, conversations about lambs, a topic that holds special significance for Jackie and Graham.
