Welcome to the stunning landscape of Maciek and Emily’s Bighorn Lookout Engagement Session! As we venture into this breathtaking scenery, it’s both a privilege and a responsibility to showcase the natural beauty of locations like Bighorn Lookout.

In recent years, places like Bighorn Lookout have seen a surge in popularity, drawing visitors from far and wide to witness the amazing views. However, with increased foot traffic comes the risk of environmental impact. A friendly reminder that it is our duty as stewards of the land to tread lightly and leave no trace. Remember to pack out everything you bring in, respect wildlife and their habitats, and stay on designated trails to minimize erosion.

For Maciek and Emily, this engagement session was about more than just capturing beautiful photos – it was about giving them an epic landscape experience they’ll never forget. Hailing from Vancouver Island, they were drawn to the rugged beauty of the Alberta Rockies, and Bighorn Lookout did not disappoint. Despite the moody weather, their energy remained high and the laughter could be heard throughout this entire valley. The benefit of heading out to these spots when the weather isn’t the greatest usually means that you’ll have the whole place to yourself. And we did! And have I mentioned how much I love an overcast sky? So so good for colour just popping!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Maciek and Emily for being such amazing sports throughout our session. Thank you for being up for my shenanigans and braving the large herd of cattle. Your connection and enthusiasm are truly infectious, and I can’t wait to see that same energy at your upcoming wedding. Also, how excited am I to photograph a fellow Polish person?!!!
