In the midst of bone-chilling cold, this downtown Calgary Alforno Bakery Winter Wedding exuded warmth and love. Despite the freezing temperatures, Laura and Mark’s November wedding day was filled with unforgettable moments and an outpouring of love from guests who traveled far and wide to celebrate their special day.

The day began at the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire, where Laura and Mark got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. The cozy and elegant atmosphere of the hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the anticipation and excitement leading up to the ceremony. As the couple prepared for their big day, there was a palpable sense of love and joy in the air, setting the tone for the celebration to come. The biggest thank you to Flower & Wolf Calgary for allowing us to do wedding party photos in your gorgeous restaurant. These truly became a fast favourite of my career!

Once ready, Laura and Mark braved the cold and we made our way to some very picturesque spots in downtown Calgary for their First Look and Couples Portraits. The two were absolute troopers as we jumped in and out of my truck so we could stay warm! This truly was one of the coldest days I’ve ever photographed a wedding in!

We made our way to Alforno Bakery. The venue, with its charming ambiance and rustic charm, was transformed into a winter wonderland, beautifully adorned with delicate decorations and soft candlelight. The warmth and intimacy of the space perfectly complemented the love shared between Laura and Mark, creating an enchanting setting for their vows.
