With their wedding fast approaching, I wanted to get Lindsay and Jeremy’s Sunset Engagement Photos on the Bow River up on the blog!

We spent a perfect August evening in one of my favourite places along Alberta’s beautiful Bow River hanging out, dancing and catching a sunset. If I haven’t mentioned it enough yet, I love engagement sessions!

I’m not sure if the moment I fell in love with these two was when I found out they were massive Formula One fans like myself, or whether it was the moment they brought this “bear pillow” to their Engagement Session and told me the incredible story of how Jeremy bought it for Lindsay and hid her engagement ring in it on their way to their proposal. She apparently clung onto it in the car the entire time and had no idea that a ring was inside! SWOOONNN! If that isn’t the most creative engagement story, I don’t know what is!

Another super fun fact from our sunset engagement photos on the Bow River was that I had just purchased my dream blanket from Heart Print Threads and used it during our session. I mean, is this not the perfect blanket for this session?! And the best part is that for every blanket purchased, one gets donated to a local charity. It doesn’t get better than that!

A couple of weeks after our session, I received a long distance call from Lindsay’s parents, who are fabulous by the way and feel like family already, and they were mentioning how much Lindsay and Jeremy loved the blanket from their photos and wanted the details so they could purchase one for the couple themselves. I was sworn to secrecy and the couple were gifted their very own blanket as a memento from our engagement session.

I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding at one of my most favourite Calgary restaurants The Nash! Can’t wait to have the best day ever as you two say your I Do’s. The countdown is definitely on! Let’s get you married!
