When Lauren and Braden traveled all the way from Texas for their Rocky Mountains Engagement Session, it was clear that they were in for an unforgettable experience. In early 2020, Lauren and Braden conquered the mighty Kilimanjaro, showcasing their resilience and shared determination. As we laughed together during their engagement session, I couldn’t help but comment that any couple who can survive such an incredible adventure is undoubtedly prepared for the journey of married life that lies ahead.

To maintain the mountainous ambiance they desired, I took them to one of my favorite locations at Upper Kananaskis Lakes. The evening was an absolute dream, with the warmth of summer enveloping us. I always appreciate it when clients bring multiple outfits to their sessions, and when Lauren unveiled her stunning green dress, I was left speechless. The couple’s willingness to embrace every moment led them to wade into the frigid waters of the mountain lake, and once again, I was captivated by their spirit and enthusiasm. It truly doesn’t get any better than this.

During the engagement session, a heartwarming and adorable moment unfolded. Lauren surprised Braden by getting down on one knee to propose back to him. She had reached out to me days before our session, sharing her desire to create a special surprise for Braden, as they had an ongoing lighthearted joke about how men rarely receive proposals. Needless to say, it was an extraordinary moment filled with laughter and joy, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
