When an interior designer as talented as Sarah Beadle of Gioia Interiors (pronounced Joy-AH) asks you to photograph her wedding to her dream guy Shawn, you literally jump for JOY. And when she finds the most beautiful location to document this Woodland West Engagement Session, you feel like you’ve won the lottery!

4.5 years ago, Sarah sold Shawn a sofa. Their first date happened on that sofa. She’s the creative and he’s the numbers guy. She’s expressive while he’s shy. And even with all of these differences, in Sarah’s words…they complete each other. And do they ever.

With their sweet pup Chloe, we headed for an evening to the incredible property of Woodland West. I mean, I don’t even know how to describe this place without using terms like Heaven and Paradise. A big thank you to friends Matt and Sarah for showing us around your family property. From the cozy cabin in the woods to the sprawling fields with 360 degree views, this is an Engagement Session dream. I am beyond excited for the September wedding.
