I wanted to go for an adventure. I wanted to hop in the truck and head west. I’ve realized that this happens to me a lot. I usually have no real location in mind, just simply to drive. On a particularly beautiful day in late May, Lisa + Tim joined me for a Canmore Mountain Adventure.

These two. Sigh. And if you know them, chances are you already understand what I’m saying. The day was perfect. Their affection for each other is perfect. How quickly you feel like you’ve been friends with them forever…is perfect.

We took a drive west of Canmore and into the beautiful backcountry. We played among tree stumps while our toes sank into perfectly warm sand. I had never seen the lake like this before. It was really cool. Lisa wanted to twirl and twirl and twirl in her dress…and so she did. We explored a cool pond and we jammed out on the dock not realizing that we had literally lost track of all time. I didn’t care about perfect light or posing. I just wanted to have fun + document what was happening in front of me. It was perfect. Thanks you two, here’s to many more adventures.
