Flowers are blooming all over Calgary and I absolutely love it! Last year I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the Portrait Brand Session for floral designer extraordinaire Sunny Barrett of Always Sunny Design.

Sunny Barrett is the name and face of the company. As the lead designer, Sunny is passionate about creating unique and meaningful floral experiences while using only the best botanical, materials and floral art design. Her work is primarily focused on weddings, eclectic events, and botanical styling for corporate and editorial projects.

Before opening her own Canadian based design studio in 2015, Sunny was a lead wedding and event designer for affluent design houses, upscale resorts, and local clientele in both California and Arizona. Upon arriving in Canada, she’s continued to build on her formal interior design education and floral design experience by furthering her fine art floral studies with Sarah Winward, Alicia and Adam Rico, and Clare Monica Day.
